Engineering scope

O Ring Design provides preliminary engineering calculation, screening, documentation and sourcing support. It does not replace the applicable standard, a qualified engineer's final approval, supplier confirmation, prototype testing or validation under actual operating conditions.

A result marked pass or fail applies only to the submitted inputs and configured criteria. An integrity signature confirms that a stored result has not been altered; it is not a certification, warranty or regulatory approval.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate dimensions, tolerances, units, materials, media, temperatures, pressures and operating conditions.
• Review minimum, nominal and maximum cases and independently verify safety-critical applications.
• Confirm supplier part numbers, material compounds, certifications, availability, price and lead time directly with the supplier.
• Do not rely on the platform as the sole control for life-safety, medical, aerospace or other high-consequence decisions.

Supplier network and commercial disclosure

Supplier information may come from public sources, supplier submissions or platform research and may become outdated. Claimed, Verified, Partner, Data Connected and Fast Response have different meanings. Commercial relationships must not affect engineering calculations or pass/fail decisions.

RFQs, quotes, samples and any resulting contract are between the requester and supplier unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. O Ring Design does not guarantee supplier performance, product suitability or transaction completion.

Acceptable use

• Do not attack, bypass limits, probe private APIs, submit malicious content or interfere with other users.
• Do not use automated scraping, bulk extraction or systematic republication of platform databases, criteria, reports or supplier content without written permission. Ordinary search-engine crawling that follows robots directives is permitted.
• Do not misrepresent affiliation with O Ring Design or any referenced manufacturer, and do not remove source, integrity or commercial-disclosure notices.

Intellectual property and third-party names

The platform software, original presentation, compiled data and documentation are protected by applicable rights. Standards, manufacturer names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively. Unless explicitly stated, O Ring Design is independent and is not sponsored, certified or endorsed by those manufacturers.

Availability and liability

The platform is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that data, calculations, AI responses, supplier records or service availability are error-free or fit for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for engineering validation and procurement decisions.

Changes, suspension and contact

We may update features or these terms, prevent abuse, suspend access or remove inaccurate supplier content. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted. Questions or removal requests can be submitted through the Contact page.
